Subfloor and moisture diagnosis
When a floor fails, the cause is almost always underneath it - a slow plumbing leak, a settled joist, missing insulation against a slab, or moisture wicking up through concrete in our high-water-table soil. We diagnose the source first (moisture meter readings, joist inspection, leak path), fix the cause, then repair the surface. Otherwise you'll be calling us back for the same spot next year. For larger jobs we'll bring in our floor demolition & prep crew instead of patching around the problem.

On hardwood, vinyl plank, and laminate we replace board-for-board and feather the finish, so a properly executed repair is invisible from across the room. On tile, the result depends on whether matching tile is still available - we'll show you a sample before committing.
Most squeaks can be fixed from below if there's crawl-space access, by re-securing the subfloor to the joists. Squeaks in the middle of a sealed floor sometimes require lifting and re-screwing the affected planks.
