At Amazing Floors Florida, we provide commercial flooring installation for businesses across St. Augustine, FL and nearby areas — from offices and gyms to schools and restaurants. Commercial carpet

We work with a range of commercial carpet options — broadloom, direct glue-down, and modular carpet tiles — each offering long-lasting performance, design flexibility, and easy maintenance. Commercial carpet is a popular choice for its sound absorption, comfort underfoot, and how it improves the feel of offices, schools, churches, and institutional spaces. Carpet tiles in particular are easy to replace and re-configure. Commercial carpet does show wear over time in extremely high-traffic areas, and stains can be harder to remove than on hard-surface flooring, so routine cleaning is important.

Commercial rubber flooring

We offer commercial rubber flooring in both interlocking tiles and roll formats for glue-down installation. Rubber is a good fit for gyms, fitness centers, weight rooms, and even home workout areas — it's durable, helps reduce noise, and offers shock absorption for high-impact activity. Interlocking rubber tiles are easy to install and can be moved or reconfigured as your space evolves. Glue-down rolls are more permanent, and a good option for larger areas.

Glue-down vinyl plank (LVP/LVT)

Glue-down LVP is a versatile option for commercial spaces, designed to withstand heavy foot traffic and rolling loads — especially popular in office environments where durability matters. Individual planks can be replaced if damaged, which keeps maintenance straightforward. Glue-down planks use a pressure-sensitive adhesive that holds firmly but can release if needed, so slight lifting or edge curling can occur over time — that's a normal characteristic of this type of flooring, not a defect.

Homogeneous vs. heterogeneous sheet goods

We offer both homogeneous and heterogeneous sheet flooring. Homogeneous sheet is a single, solid layer of material — color and pattern run all the way through, so it's very durable and holds up well in hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings. Design options are more limited and the surface is slightly firmer underfoot. Heterogeneous sheet uses multiple layers, including a printed design layer on top, so it comes in a wider range of colors, textures, and realistic patterns like wood, stone, or tile. The printed top layer can wear over time, and seams tend to be more visible than on homogeneous flooring.

Both types can show imperfections in the subfloor beneath if it isn't smooth (called telegraphing), so proper subfloor preparation matters. Seams are sealed to reduce visibility and moisture intrusion.

Vinyl composition tile (VCT) and epoxy

VCT is a durable flooring option made from vinyl and natural limestone, well suited to high-traffic areas like churches, commercial restaurants, and other busy environments. It requires routine maintenance, including stripping and waxing, to keep it looking its best. Epoxy is a strong coating applied over concrete for a smooth, glossy finish — surface preparation is key, and epoxy can chip or flake over time in areas with heavy impact. It comes in basic fleck designs and can be customized for a marbled or decorative look; we've installed it in garages, basements, and similar spaces.
